Review content:
The first impression when entering this location is the decor of a fast food restaurant ... slightly cold and uninviting. The best seats are at the sushi bar. I am not a sushi expert but I enjoyed their sushi. The other ""Japanese"" dishes were not Japanese, rather Japanese American. We found main dishes to be accompanied with brocolli smothered with a liquid cheese substance. A quick review of any authentic Japanese cookbook will illustrate their deviation. We were disappointed with our meals since Sonada claims to be Japanese and they fall real short in authentic Japanese as we found in other Japanese restaurants (i.e. Tachibana, etc) in other cities.
Pros: American Japanese, Sushi, Fish
Cons: AuthentJapaneeseFood?
