Do not under any circumstances bring your dog here to be groomed. On June 20, 2008 I brought my Soft Coated Wheaten to La De Da Pet Spa and they charged me $98 to groom him. After I paid (they make you pay before you see your dog so beware!) they brought him out and I was mortified. They had groomed him to look like a very poorly cut poodle, they even left a little puff ball on his tail and to top it all off they shaved off his beard. The groomers here clearly do not know how a Wheaten should look. I expressed my dismay and they shrugged their shoulders and kept every cent of the $98. I was fleeced and you will be too. They charge by the hour and they give you a report card on how well your pet tolerated the grooming. My dog has received glowing reviews from every other groomer he has been to in the past seven years. At La De Da he is considered ""challenging"". It only follows that they make your dog seem difficult so that they can justify the ""extra time"" they claim they took to groom him. My dog was shaved down very short all one length (it must have taken all of 15 minutes) yet they claim it took over two hours. Let this be a warning. If you love your pets, take do not take them here.
