I have been going to this salon for over 15 years. I have stopped going because of their treatment of children. I took my 5 and 3 year old sons in for haircuts yesterday and when I walked in the door, one of the employees launched into a tirade about how parents needed to control their children and that she doesn't tolerate it and will discipline children herself when they come into the salon. I am very contentious of my children's behavior and try to make sure they are always respectful. While my 2 year old was getting his hair cut, my older children came to stand next to me and one of the employees told them they could not stand there and that they had to go sit in the waiting area. I picked my 5 year old up and my daughter (age 7) went to sit down, but didn't like being away from me, so I told her she could stand with me. I had my son in my arms and my daughter was leaning against me with my arm around her and this lady walks back over and gets in her face and says I thought I told you to go sit down, you can't be here unless your mother is physically holding you. I asked my daughter to go sit back in the waiting area and told the woman that despite the fact that I have been a loyal customer for 15 years, I would not be back. I will take my money somewhere more child friendly. My daughter had to sit in the waiting area alone, crying because I couldn't leave my 2 year old in the cut chair by himself. This same woman was incredibly rude to my sister last week, over her daughter. I was also told by a neighbor that this woman actually pushed her daughter once. I would seriously consider another salon if you are looking for a family friendly establishment.
