This was the very place I stopped at my first time in Los Angeles. It was 4pm, so there was no line and no wait. I ordered the Chili Spaghetti which was alright, but my friend ordered a Big Boy burger and it is -- to this day -- the best burger in its price range that I've ever had. I also ordered a banana shake which I could not finish. I love Bob's Big Boy and constantly beg my mom to go there with me when we're in LA. The restaurant has a very kitschy, retro feel to it and it beats Mel's by far.
