Review content:
While I enjoyed my first year at ECC, I had no real idea of what I was going on that whole first semester. By my second year of college I realized just how frustrating and difficult it was to get the classes I need to complete my degree at ECC. I ended up going an extra TWO semesters to finish my degree because I couldn't get the classes I needed to complete it. Occasionally, I would get a teacher that would be in their first semester of teaching (ever) or after a long period of time and have the frustrating experience of going through a class with a teacher that would constantly change their mind, their teaching method and what they told the class was the correct answer. When I first went to sign up for classes I spoke to a very rude general advisor, I didn't want to go to ECC after that experience but I still attended since it was the closest CC to me. I loved my first semester, I loved the Biology department, I loved the English department. The rest of my experience was spent struggling to get the classes I needed to move on to my four year University. If you are looking to attend a class or two at a time, ECC is great. If you want to get your degree and get out DO NOT GO TO ECC.
