Review content:
We've had a few bad experiences at the Savoy, but the poor service we experienced during a recent visit really turned us off to this place. Both the owner and wait staff need to take a course in customer relations. Because of the wait, we ordered our pizza as soon as we arrived, and ordered salads as soon as we were seated. After waiting nearly an hour and querrying our waitress several times as to the whereabouts of our salads, our pizza showed up followed by the salads! We complained about the poor service, and were rewarded with an argument and feeble excuses from our waitress. We were offered no compensation by our waitress or the manager. They essentially blew us off. The Savoy has plenty of competition these days, not the least of which is Cossetta's right down the street and a number of others. We'll never go back!
