My daughter in law and three grandchildren recently moved into my husband's and my house because our son was deployed to the middle east for the ""war"". We looked at day cares in our area and could not find one that we felt comfortable with. My daughter in did an internet search on all the day cares in the area and found a poor consumer review on Brandon Day Care so we did not even consider looking at this one. My husband is a physician and has a practice near Brandon Day School and two of his office assistants have children there. I spoke with both of them and asked them if they were happy with Brandon Day School and both of them were very happy. One of them has had her daughter there since she was 2 and she is going into kindergarten this year and is beginning to read. The other office assistant has a 3 year old and a first grader that goes to the tutoring program next door to the daycare. Her first grader gets homework help and tutoring from the owner who used to be a special education teacher for hillsborough county. The afterschool program is in the house next door to the daycare, this is for elementary school children. The owner has it set up very nice. She has a computer room, an arts and craft room, and reading room for the children. We are very happy at Brandon Day school.
Pros: Teachers CARE, computers and great learning centers
