I found this place online at thirstygator dot com looking for anywhere else other than Lee & Ricks. (Pretty average oysters really) I went down there to check it out and will definitely be going back. Great prices on oysters and they are huge and very tasty. The owner actually shucked them for me and was very friendly and chatty (he used to play for the Gators back in the day it seems so thats were the bar name comes from) Overall a very enjoyable time that didn't break the bank and I would recommend the Thirsty Gator to anyone...
Pros: Great food, great prices, lots to do, friendly staff.
Cons: lots of orange and blue (also a gator football bar)
