Review content:
My daughter purchased her gown at Bea's. She loved the dress and was actually happy with the service leading up to her alterations. However, at her final fitting, the bodice of the dress didn't fit properly. The alterations person told her it needed pressing and was assured it would be fine. She picked the dress up from the store, the day before her wedding and it was all hung and bagged. I had told her to make sure she tried the dress on again before taking it from the store, but she was told by the salesperson that it would be a mistake to unbag it at that point. So, she didn't try the dress on again, until her wedding day. The bodice was horrible. It hadn't needed ""pressing"" at all, but more like 2 inches taken in. The dress had a princess bodice of horizontal pleats and they gapped and folded over at the top. The wedding took place and fortunately my daughter is not a bridezilla and proceeded to have a great day. The dress in pictures, looks quite untailered and the loose bodice with its huge gaping neckline is very apparent. After the wedding, I sent a picture of my daughter in the gown to the owner of Beas. I explained the problem and wanted her to know that while our ""buying"" experience had been ok, I was VERY displeased with their alterations. I gave my name, e-mail and phone number and never heard anything from them. An apology would have gone a long way. When you spend 2500. on a dress and then pay 350. more for alterations, I expect more than that. After seeing other people write reviews about poor customer service, I'd have to say that I would not recommend this store even though you'll find some designer lines there that you won't find in other Denver stores.
