Review content:
I bought my dress from Bea's back in 2005 & I am still holding enough resentment from my experience that almost 3 years later, here I am telling my story. My overall dress shopping experience at Bea's was acceptable. They weren't overly attentive, despite the cost of most of their dresses, they never made me feel extremely special, but at the same time, I don't think that it was about them. To me, it was about finding the dress & I did. I found a dress that I loved & on my wedding day, someone came out of the bathroom where I had just been asking if someone had dropped some jewelry b/c there were tiny crystals on the floor. I looked down & the crystals on my dress had come undone & fallen off! I had literally had the dress on for less than 5 minutes. As the night went on, more & more crystals came undone. On the right side, the dress became 'untucked' we'll say. In a lot of my pictures, you can clearly see that there is something wrong with the dress. After the wedding & after things settled down, I contacted Bea's about what happened. They told me to contact the designer b/c they were utlimately responsible. So, I contacted the designer, even included pictures of what happened & inevitably, the designer told me that Bea's was responsible. I left multiple messages, sent emails to Bea's & of course, heard nothing back from them. A simple 'I'm sorry' would have sufficed. After dishing out $3000 for a dress, I never thought that I would have to be concerned with quality. I might as well have bought a dress from David's b/c I would expect subpar quality. Bea's ignored me & would not take responsibility for their shotty alteration work & mediocre quality. My suggestion? Care less about the person helping you try on dresses & focus more on quality of the product & standards of alterations. And congratulations to Bea's for failing miserably in each of these categories.
