Review content:
Trinity United Methodist Church is one of Elevate Photography's favorite classic churchs to photograph. It rivals the beauty of the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception in Denver and the Airforce Academy Chapel in Colorado Springs. Trinity was Denver's first church established in 1888. Its modern gothic architecture will attract couples seeking a truly unique location for their wedding ceremony. Trinity is one of the larger churches around with a capacity of 1100.
There is plenty of space for both wedding parties to get ready in different parts of the church. Trinity's central location makes it easy to do photos before or after the ceremony. A parking lot across the street from the church offers a brick wall backdrop for fun wedding party photos with an urban feel. The nearby pavillion, 16th st mall and endless alleyways and city streets will provide plenty of unique settings to take the wedding party for photos. The entrance gates to the church provide a location for dramatic portraits with the bride and groom. The balcony inside the church makes for a great spot for photo with the wedding party during inclemate weather.
Seasoned photographers of Trinity will know the rules that have established for wedding photographers. All formal photos in the sanctuary must be done 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow for guests arriving. The only time the photographer is allowed in the aisle is during the processional and recessional. All other times they must be either under or on the balcony. Flash during the ceremony is not possible since it is such a large space. The photographer will surely need a tripod to capture the subtle dramatic light created within the sanctuary. It helps to pick out one spot to shoot from on the balcony since the floors make a lot of noise when moving around. Having a second photographer for ceremonies at Trinity can be usefull in order to capture different perspectives during the ceremony.
