Review content:
I have an old laptop that was built from multiple donor laptops. The laptop served me well until it acquired a very bad trojan. I took it to Mr. Notebook for help, and the first employee noticed that there were no tags on the unit, and said they won't work on it without the tags. I explained that it was built from multiple donor laptops by a computer salvage company, but the more I protested, the more he made me feel like some sort of criminal. The second employee was no better. They said something about if the Police came by it would get them in trouble...WHAT????? I guess the only two points I'd make are this: 1.) there are homebuilt computers that don't have factory tags on them; and 2.) Rudeness is bad business. You don't want to work on it, fine. But courtesy would have gone a long way with me. Sign me a retired law enforcement officer who was offended by thier attitude.
