Review content:
Perhaps for those who do not eat Thai or Indian food very often, this restaurant may offer some new tastes, but for the rest of us, this was very substandard fare. The pineapple fried rice did not come in a pineapple shell as advertised and was made with what looked and tasted like Minute Rice and frozen vegetables. The much promoted Roti Canai was disappointing: the roti was actually very good, flaky and hot, but the 'chicken curry' was a watery dreck with one piece of potato and tasted like it was made with grocery store curry powder: way too much tumeric. The Malaysian beef dish promised 'chef's special sauce,' but again tasted of bitter tumeric. The place was empty when we arrived; we should have taken it as a sign.
Pros: tea was good
Cons: non-homemade, processed foods, Minute Rice!
