The classic ""Bait and Switch"" was pulled on me...DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I took my MacBook to the Apple store and found out I needed a new display assembly at a cost from Apple of $500. I called Laptops Plus and told them I needed a new display assembly for my MacBook and asked what it would cost. I was told about $250 so I brought it right in for them to work on. I left a $50 deposit for their tech to diagnose the problem first hand and a week later was told the EXACT same thing that Apple told me which I already knew....The price to fix? You guessed it $500! To add insult to injury, their display assembly is refurbished! I already knew what was wrong with it, I was looking to get it fixed for $250. If she would have told me $500 on the phone when I originally called, I would have never taken it in. Now I am out $50 for them to tell me something I already knew, and that I had told them. What a rip off these people are. BAIT AND SWITCH!!! Like I said, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!
