Review content:
My family member needed to stay in recovery for 2 nights after major surgery. The room that would be used for convalescence was dirty, although it was neat and had been cleaned, the door knobs were greasy, also dirty were the chairs, table and walls. I was able to wipe these area down with disinfectant but I imagine that since these area were not properly cleaned, there must've been loads of bacteria. I did mention this to the nurses but they didn't seem to care, they did have the habit to use new gloves when entering the room and touching patient. All of the nurses assigned to help my family member spoke English as a second language so communication was difficult to discuss ""technical medical"" issues and many misunderstanding occurred. Also many of the nurses had bad attitudes and I was afraid to leave my family member alone. The hospital entrance information desk customer service personal are nice and so are the Methodist senior citizen volunteers but if going past this portion of the hospital and entering the recovery area where ""trust"" is so important, you'll find the nursing staff and floor personally is extremely disappointing.
