this sushi restaurant is the best sushi in Gainesville Fl. it offers some of the freshest sushi that i have ever eaten. as a former worker of Sushi Matsuri, i am not being bias toward it. i was a costumer there way before i started working there. but the amount of food experience that was there attracted me to get a job there as a sushi chef so i that i may learn more about my work. so far sushi matsuri is one of my favorite sushi place, the workers are all great. the servers are really nice but sometime your food will take some time to come out as they do get really packed. as far as making the sushi, no corners are cut and they only use fresh never frozen tuna. so in conclusion if you are ever in gainesville then look this place up as i dont think its going anywhere since its already been there for over 15yrs. hope this helped you guys.
Pros: fresh sushi!
Cons: if they are really busy the wait may be a bit longer then u expect, but worth it.
