Review content:
I recently went to Saltwater Cafe for a nice dinner with my husband. It wasn't our first time there but it was just as delicious and wonderful as any other time. This time we were there to try something new. My husband and I have a fetish with asking the server what their favorite dishes are or what is new on the menu. Our server Eduardo was so helpful he suggested the Beef Carpaccio for our appetizer, it was fantastic, definitely out of my comfort zone being rare meat but it was delicious. For the entrees Eduardo suggested the Potato Crusted Grouper and Veal Chop Rahmschnitzel. They were so wonderful everything was cooked perfectly and the Potato Crusted Grouper had something like hashbrowns wrapped around the Grouper and then pan fried. It was amazing. Finally, for desert we had the Fried Apple with vanilla ice cream.
I would totally recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal. Every time we go we feel like royalty. The menu is kind of expansive so it's a great idea to just ask what is great that day or what is new or 'Im looking for something like this' just ask questions the wait staff is so helpful.
P.S. Our server also suggested fine wines and German beers that paired perfectly with our appetizer and entrees.
