Businiess name:  El Rincon Del Sabor

Review content:
My family and I just moved here and on a whim, tried El Rincon. The dishes are more Baja style with lighter ingredients but huge on quantity. You'll probably not find refried beans and thick queso here, but what you will find is a fantastic meal for a really good price. Pretty unique qualities make this place stand out enough that I thought I'd write my first review ever of a place. I had the 3 Fish Taco entree (crispy Mahi) and my wife ordered the taco salad, vegetarian style. Kids weren't up for Mex though. My tacos came with rice and vegetarian black beans and was good. Not as good as some Cuban black beans, but as a side on the entree, it was fine. Absolutely huge portions-I couldn't finish the third taco even though I was starving before we came in. My little one ended up devouring the third as long as we took most of the fish out. The taco salad was pretty tasty, definitely above average. Some really good home made salsa to choose from, but the drink options are pretty basic, limited to sodas or water. Would've loved a Negro Modelo but I don't recall seeing beer there. OK, the atmosphere is about what you'd expect from a shopping plaza style eatery. It's not fine dining, but a step up from your typical dig. Lightly but tastefully decorated. It is an order at the register and sit down and wait for your meal kinda place. That being said, the one weak spot, IMO, is the kid at the register- who is probably the owner's son. He clearly hates doing this and it reflects badly on the rest of the business. He is completely devoid of expression and speaks like a POW reciting his captors message into a video camera. Despite this, we'll be back for more of this family fantastic food. YOU GOTTA TRY THE FISH TACOS-unique and delicious. 3 tacos + Rice and Beans was cheaper than their fast food equivilants and was easily twice the quantity of ingredients. Pros: Fantastic meal- try the fish tacos -an awesome value Cons: Atmosphere could be better. Kid who works register.
