Listen, if you want to go somewhere that knows nothing about skateboards go to the mall. Burt whether it be longboards or frestyle or street, Flips is the best shop in this part of the city. In fact, I go out of my way to shop here because Flip knows what he is talkign about. Great selection, he even has a small funpipe out back to test out your new purchase. The knowledgeable staff is courteous and friendly, the shopd is easy to find and the selection is vast. I grew up in the 80s and have skated over 20 years, so trust me when I tell you, the prices are fair and the stuff is quality. Dont go to the big shops that have a huge markup where the staff is some punk kid that is working on a commission just trying to sell you crap you dont need. Flip is honest and well get you into the right gear.
