Uncle Wills seems like an unlikely place for a foodie, with it's kitchy pig decor and the mile long line out front. In fact, it was just the kind of place that I thought I hated, and drove past for ten years. A friend who was staying for the weekend once insisted that we try it, and I was truly amazed. Friendly waiters bustle around packed and happy customers, ordering the most fresh and creative breakfast on the island. Everything is quality, from the coffee to the fresh baked muffins (DO NOT MISS THEM!). Even the breakfast potatoes are infused with fresh rosemary. Here is a great tip- the miraculous woman who juggles the massive wait list allows you to call ahead to put your name on the list. For the best LBI morning ever, call in and put your name on the list. Then, take a leisurely bike ride down to the restaurant, and you will be next in line! Don't miss this place!
