Review content:
I visited this restaurant while in Annapolis, Maryland. I saw the sign while out driving and being a Texan was wondering how good the Mexican food this far North could be. Outside it looked like an ordinary strip mall Mexican restaurant. As soon as I walked in the door I could tell it wasn't going to be what I expected. This place is more of a fine Spanish dining establishment than a Mexican restaurant. They didn't even bring chips and salsa when you sit down. What they brought was some type of crusty bread with butter. This was a first for a "Mexican" restaurant that I've been to, and believe me, I've been to quite a few.
I had chicken with a tequila cream sauce. I couldn't taste any tequila at all in the sauce. Still, it had a good flavor.
Some might find the cost a little intimidating too. The average cost of each entrée was close to or above $20.00. The service was good, however. My waitress was very attentive.
The verdict:
If your looking for good Mexican food at a reasonable price, pass this place up. If you want somewhere to "Wine and Dine" a date, this is the place for you.
