If you really love bulldogs then do the breed a favor and do not buy from DNA kennels. My dog I bought from them has had way too many health problems. Problems that come from unhealthy breeding. He has just been diagnosed with juvenile cataracts. He had one testicle that did not descend. He had worms and we got the fecal result and he had a bacteria infection (Coccidia). When you go visit dna kennels the first thing you will notice is the wretched stench. Then you will notice the bulldogs are all very massively obese. Next you will notice all the dogs have sever cherry eye. Which can very easily be fixed. Ken and his gross wife clearly do not have any love for the breed. Please heed my warning and do not buy from this breeder. Get a breeder referral from the akc website. This has been an unfortunate learning experience. My sweet dog should not have to suffer because of breeder ignorance and my stupidity to buy from awful breeders. There is a reason they only offer a 48 hour health guarantee and that is because they know they can not stand by the health of their bulldogs. They do not show their dogs and they do not compete in akc competitions because they have inferior dogs.
If you are still not convinced to not buy from this breeder then ask questions:
Why do you not belong to a bulldog club? Why do you not competitively show your dogs? Why are your dogs so obese? How come you haven't got their eyes fixed? Why do they live in squalor?
Are the damn and sire free of genetic anomalies? That's a big no!
I did not do the right thing by buying a dog from this breeder. Don't make the same mistake that I did.
