Review content:
Labeled as a family restaurant that serves a full menu of food and drink, Barnaby's real treasure is the beloved pizza pie. In true Chicago style, this pizza is of the thin crust variety and cut in squares. The outer edge of the crust is a little more raised and molded into a curvey, wave-like shape. This feature, along with the use of corn meal added to the bottom, gives Barnaby's a unique look with an original, great tasting crust. They offer a wide array of toppings, including italian sausage, which is simply tremendous. The cheese and sauce are consistently served in correct amounts, that blend together delightfully. The interior gives off a nice, dark tavern feel for the romantic couple, as well as a jukebox and several televisions, for large groups and sports fans respectively. Barnaby's of Northbrook is the Chicago area's best kept secret for pizza.
