Review content:
I researched five doggie day care places and when I found Doggie Pause it was the only place I would ever consider for my smaller dogs. The other places had a huge focus on the big guys, and ""small"" dogs can be anything up to about 40 pounds - which is huge when one of mine is 6 pounds!! My Whippet is high-energy, reactive and a little fussy. All of the staff have been briefed in how to deal with him - he's so cute, but don't pick him up!! - to avoid any uncomfortable moments. I appreciate that they have continued to welcome him with open arms, despite his sensitivities. He has a blast - if I ask if he wants to go to ""school"" he practically explodes with excitement. My Chihuahua has had multiple medical issues, and I know that they will watch her closely and gauge her interest in socializing or resting. She tends to overdo it - never stopping all day - so she is now on a nap schedule to avoid exhaustion. It is such a great opportunity for them to be running, playing, socializing and having fun while I am at work. They run off a lot of energy, and it is really healthy exercise for both of them. SO much better than being bored at home!!
Pros: Great staff - always friendly, professional and warm
Cons: None
