Review content:
This was our third visit. Each time we have gone expecting a good experience. After tonight, we will probably never go back. We were seated in the back area next to the coffee stand. We ourselves moved the table away as it was right next to it. There were other tables available, but we just fixed that problem ourselves after we were seated. Then we ordered drinks and appetizers. I ordered an iced tea. I was about to put some artificial sugar in it when I decided to have a taste first. I had already squeezed a lemon into it. It turned out to be beer. Now, I am old enough to drink but this was terrible.....I mean it was like heavy beer with ice in it and maybe some ice tea. OMG. I mean it, I thought I was going to you know what. My table mates concurred it was beer and something else. Yes, a profound mistake for the server and bar tender to make. The food was also not the best we have had there in the past. I had beef stroganoff. It was terribly salty. I mean, wow, salt. The other disappointment was the london broil. The beef was very chewy and grisly. The ribs were good that my son had, We each tried one, and the steak and ale pie was okay too. Unfortunately the band started up as we were finishing up and we spent the rest of our time almost screaming at each other to communicate. As I said, we were in the back room with the fireplace. This was not terrible but we are not planning on returning.
