Businiess name:  Hummus Bar & Grill

OK Yelpers, here it is - this place by far has the best hummus I have had in Los Angeles. This is an elusive creation smooth of texture and often hard to accomplish. Those who do the job right have a following Elvis would be proud of. The atmosphere is Spartan, but the food is spot on. My favorite is the hummus with shawarma. Other than your meal you also get never ending pita bread called lafa that is made fresh in their special oven. Comes hot and soft and crispy all at the same time, which is great when you have to enjoy the additional little side salads that come to the table. Other Middle Eastern delights are available and are highly recommended like the lamb shish kabob, the falafel, and been dishes as well. Overall, you can't go wrong with this Israli joint. You should go if you can. Peter Burstyn is a former chef from NY and is now an insurance agent with Farmers Insurance. Visit farmersagent dot com/pburstyn
