Review content:
Ever since riding in Griffith Park as a child, I have loved horses and horseback riding (both English and Western). When I looked into taking lessons I realized there were very few places in the Los Angeles area that actually offered actual lessons (not just a horseback ride for an hour). A friend recommended Traditional Equitation School located in the Los Angeles Equestrian Center and it has become my home away from home ever since! The Traditional Equitation School (TES) owns horses that are suited for all levels of riders and for a variety of disciplines, including jumping and dressage. The instructors are experienced and knowledgeable and to me, one of the best parts is you are taught to groom and tack your own horse. TES offers many programs ranging from group lessons to leasing a horse and with so many horses and instructors, they are able to accommodate most work and school schedules.
Pros: Best Place in Los Angeles to learn to ride
Cons: I have to work and can't take lessons all day
