Businiess name:  Wine Bistro

It's great to find a restaurant serving casual French Bistro cuisine - even though the concept is a bit dated - when you get the hunger pangs for that type of food. This restaurant reminds me of the bar in Cheers - ""where everybody knows your name."" Owner/host J B Torchon seems to know about 75% of the customers by now, and if he doesn't know you he will by the end of the evening!! I love finding moules mariniere, filet mignon in green peppercorn sauce, and even roast duckling on the menu. J B hosts frequent special parties (Bastille Day, Beaujolais Nouveau, special wine dinners) that just add to the friendly spirit of this establishment. Parking is either valet or street (although street is tough sometimes at night in Studio City's mini-restaurant row), and overall the restaurant has that wonderful local feeling in a large city like Los Angeles. Pros: Good Value, Friendly, Popular Cons: Can get noisy
