My husband and I found Dr. Morrel to be presumptious and inconsiderate. He showed little compassion during a very delicate time in our pregnancy. During our consultation he gave us no hope and backed it up by his using his own personal negative experiences. Also, his medical advice was more like a sales pitch for the procedure(Amnio) that he was encouraging us to undergo. He down played the safe procedure(level III Ultrasound) and tried to sell us on the more expensive, less safe procedure. We got a second opinion and at 20 weeks pregnant we found a new practice. This is such a critical and sensitive time and we were disheartened by his lack of accuracy and sensitivity.
