I was in town for my friends wedding, and had just stressed over getting everything done. I was staying at the inn across the street, and asked for a referral for a facial. The innkeeper didn't hesitate to send me to Atami! I went, and had the most amazing facial. The lady who runs it, is by herself, so she does lock the door while she is in the back with a client, so no one os tempted to steal the products she has on display. So, if you make an appointment and the door is locked, just sit at the table, and she will open it for you when she is done. She brings you tea, and gets everything ready for you. She is from Europe, and had studied for 4 years as an esthetician, so she is basically a doctor of skin care! I wish the people here were that well educated when they mess with my skin. She uses all natural products, and everything smells so yummy, instead of that usual chemical smell. Not only did she do a major job treating my face, but she gave me full arm, shoulder and head massage. She also did acupressure on my cranial nerves and neck. And to top it all off, while waiting for my mask to set, she gave me a foot massage!! HEAVEN!! This is not a facial were they look at the clock, or go answer the phone in the middle. No, for a FULL 60 minutes + you have her undivided attention. I highly recommend this place if you feel like pampering yourself. She has a healing touch, and will make you relaxed and very happy! I wish I lived there, so I could go back!
