Review content:
I went to Dr. Becker as my primary care physician. I needed a doctor that would listen to me, and not BS me with feel good noise if I had a problem. I had been seeing Dr. Becker for about a year when i started having issues with my arm going numb. I had an early appointment with him, before 10 am, and told him of the problems I was experiencing. He did a couple of things to adjust my neck, and told me it was probably just a pinched nerve. I accepted that, and went about my day, confident in Dr. Beckers diagnosis. When I got home, I had a message from Dr. Becker, stating that after thinking about my situation, and my history, he though it would be a good idea for me to get an MRI. He had set up an appt at LakePointe hospital for me the next morning. Since I trusted Dr. Beckers judgment, I didn't question the appointment, and went as instructed. I went to work following the a MRI, and thought nothing more of it. I got home late that evening, and went to my answering machine which had several messages on it from Dr. Becker. he called again while I was playing the messages, and immediately told me of the nature of my injury. This had to be probably 8pm. Dr. Becker had been in the office since early morning, and stayed there until he reached me. I was floored by his concern. He immediately set me up with surgery for my problem with the best neurosurgeon in Dallas. I am certain, had it not been for Dr. Becker and his attentive, intelligent care, I would be in a wheelchair today. I would recommend Dr. Becker with absolutely no reservations.
Pros: Absolutely the best
Cons: He didnt' accept my HMO plan when I changed jobs.
