I was referred to Dr. Nagar's office by a coworker - I am a wardrobe stylist so I spend much of my day either on my feet or driving and I had been having sciatic and plantar fasciatic pain for several months. I had been to 3 other chiropracters in the LA area as well as regular massage therapy. I was in my 30's, had put on a little weight - basically not fully adjusted to the fact I was no longer in my 20's!! Dr Nagar treated my injuries in a different way than other chiros I'd been to before - instead of the usual ""cracking"" and other aggressive manipulation he released the tight muscles causing the injury and I started on a pilates program to ""re-educate"" my muscles and posture. Through private pilates sessions and classwork with his instructor Cindy I started using my abdominals and butt instead of putting stress on my back. I also began getting massage treatments from Jenny, who can read a body like a book, and like Dr. Nagar, works on releasing and re-educating the muscles to work in the most effective way, for me. 6 years later my body is completely transformed, from the inside out - I no longer have chronic pain and the best part is (ok, here goes the vanity) I dropped 3 sizes, my stomach and butt are tighter and more sculpted than when I was 25, I walk taller and am leaner than I have ever been in my life. My progress in yoga, which I have practiced for 12 years has been phenomenal - I don't sit through the hyper-advanced poses anymore, I do them! The work stress and long days on my feet have continued, now my body just takes it in stride. I've never written a Citysearch review before but I am so grateful I just had to send out a public THANK YOU to Dr Nagar and his staff for being on my team - Cindy knows my body and always pushes me while keeping me aligned and in balance, and nd Jenny is the most intuitive massage therapist ever. These two ladies and Dr. Nagar have not only relieved my pain but taught me to use my body in an entirely new way, one that not only prevents injury but feels good and looks good (which always helps!) Thank you Dr for showing me the real benefit of good health and strength, and making them affordable. See you next week!
