Review content:
When I moved here I noticed a few minor unpleasant features about Vaughan place - i.e. the Gym is in the basement even though per the advertisements it appears to have windows, and the TV screens on the cardio equipment never work.
The tipping point for me is the other day I left my gym card, which broke off my key chain, in the gym by mistake. When went back the next day (or two) it was gone (stolen). The management team charged me FIFTY DOLLARS, yes $5-0 for a replacement. To add insult to injury, the leasing specialist (I forget her name, but she has blond hair) was apathetic and borderline condescending. She said, ""I put the key card on a lanyard so that you wont LOSE IT."" Lose it??? Really?? Urgh.
Bottom line, if you think that you're going to need any kind of service whatsoever from the management team - keep looking.
In fairness, I must say, Vaughan place does have an efficient process for helping residents if they get locked out - and it's free. Also, the concierge is great and they're there 24hours (i think).
Will I renew - probably not. My rent is going up by $88 and even though I'm only here for another year, I think that I can do better for $1688.
