Review content:
Small locally own bookstores are few and far between, and there is a great little one hiding under Steinmart on Merrimon Avenue in North Asheville. Unfortunately, because it's not visible at all from the street, plenty of locals don't know it's there. But those that know, love it, and many shop there exclusively. A small, cozy store- they are sure to have your run of the mill bestsellers, but they also have a decent travel/how to selection and an impressive children/young adult fiction selection. The children's' books are practically half the store- and I have been really impressed with the collection. Anything that isn't in stock, can be ordered for you and generally arrives within 7-10 days. If you're looking for a specific title, you can call these guys, and they'll place an order over the phone and then call you when it arrives. Though they don't have the massive price cuts that you'll find at a Books A Million, or a Barnes and Noble, they do offer charm and highly knowledgeable staff.
