It takes me over an hour by MTA to get here. But this is the place I go when I need something special done on footwear or a bag and want it to be good. These guys know what they are doing and are honest if they think it won't work. The repair time estimates are fair and accurate. They won't rush and do crummy work, which is why they are very busy. The prices are reasonable--like your fave nabe shoeguys, but they are right around the corner from Bloomies! I have always been treated like a respected customer here, so for me the service is great. This place might not be for the ones who wear their shoes, then expect them, including the soles of the shoes, to look like they never wore them. Such drama queens are better off going to the overpriced places that endure the agony of their presence. But if you are a normal person with a shoe or bag issue, or just want a good shine while sitting in a chair, this is a great place.
