Review content:
The food is very good, but the service is terrible. It took about 10 minutes before someone came to our table. When they brought the food to the table, the didn't offer any shredded parmesan cheese for the pasta (as almost every good Italian restaurant usually does). Both of our water glasses were empty and never refilled. I had to stop another waiter and ask him to find our waiter to refill the water. Another 5 minutes had past and I needed something to drink as I will still eating, so I just walked over to another table that had a left over pitcher of water from the previous party of 5 that had just left. The waitress didn't come back to our table once to see if the food was okay and to ask if we needed anything. When she finally brought the bill, she asked if we were done and began to take the remaining food off the table without asking us if we wanted a box. When we requested boxes, she brought them and surprisingly boxed the food for us (I was surprised given the lousy service up to that point). I was going to tip her nothing but ended up giving 10% since she did take our order, bring the food, and box the leftovers.
The food was actually very good, but the experience was ruined by the terrible service. I would not return to this restaurant solely due to service. I called the manager later that day to complain, and he sincerely apologized and said they never get complaints about the food or the service, but he didn't offer to do anything beyond that.
I would recommend take out if you go here. Enjoy the excellent food and save yourself the tip money.
