After being a regular customer of fifth ave grill over the past few years i was disappointed the last two times i was there.It has been about four months since i have gone because the last time i was double dipped on the tip.After leaving a cash tip after i paid with a debit card. They charged my card 20 percent. After i made the call to the restaurant the manager gave me a very hard time in refunding my money. It took numerous calls to a very rude manager who finally got it handled. I waited four months before i went back. I did so because my wife and i enjoyed their food and most of all the piano player on sat. night. We went back this sat 11/18 we had to get the hostess to get us a waiter for our drinks after not being attended to for 15 mins.We finally got our drinks and placed our order. The shrimp coctail and the salad were fine.Then they brought out our steaks. My wifes was fine but my steak was half the size of hers.When i showed this to the server she said she would get the manager.She came back 5 mins later and said the manager refused to come over to our table that all the steaks were the same size and she would not exchange my steak.So i just told her to take it back i wasnt going to pay 32 dollars for such a small piece of meat.I am a manager of a major used car dept in ft.lauderdale and if there is ever a cust complaint or problem i do everything possible to personally make sure that the problem gets resolved. This manager who ever it was didnt even have the desency to acknowledege us in any way.Unfortunately i will never go back to a place i have enjoyed for many years.Shame on you fifth ave grill.
