Review content:
This place isn't really Italian. It's owned by Moroccans (if I recall correctly). That in mind, I come here with some regularity for their weekend brunch, which is pretty good in a relatively quiet if busy ambiance.
The service is always decent, and the food is always decent. I tend to get one of the eggs benedict type offerings (eg Eggs News Cafe replaces ham with smoked salmon), but they also have freshly made waffles and crepes...
Are you hearing anything Italian about this place yet? Good. That's my point. Let the Italian thing go...
Have a mimosa...
or a bellini...
or a bloody mary...
I always do.
The rolls have always been awful, but this morning they were much better than that... they were nearly good!
Standing alone on its consistently decent (not stellar but good) service and food, they've earned my repeat business. I'll keep coming back when looking for an easy brunch in Georgetown.
Pros: Eggs Florentine
Cons: The rolls are getting better, but they used to be kindling
