I heard all sorts of negative things about our insurance the second we started looking at glasses. The optical's guy quote to me was ""I try to avoid this rack as much as possible."" I find a pair (not much help from him) but they seem cheap and I'm leery. If this is the only pair we can get because of our insurance I guess it will have to do. He then charges me for Ultra AR coating without offering options and charges me for lenses which should be free with our insurance. I later get home and read our policy and it says we can get ANY pair in their office under $150 (not just exclusive). I quickly call and cancel my order and return to look at other frames. The optical guy proceeds to tell me their office will not allow me to use my insurance benefits because of bad experiences with Davis. They are providers and the ONLY reason I chose their office! How can providers deny me coverage? I have turned them into our insurance company and they will be investigating the cause. Needless to say now I have seen a Dr. with no glasses. Stay away if you have FepBlue Vision!! Find providers with integrity and will honor your policy!
