I never used this company before today, but I had a Groupon, so I wanted to use it and try them out. I usually use another company, which I love, but I was trying to save some money. I have one positive thing to say - the carpeting does appear to be clean. Now for the negatives... Three guys showed up to work (I had my livingroom/diningroom combo area done). One asked me when I had last had the carpet cleaned. I said it was new (Stainmaster carpet) as of last July, and this was the first time. He proceeded to tell me that once they steam cleaned it, all the stain protection would be gone, and that I should have them put on a new coat of protection (for an added fee, of course). When I politely declined and said perhaps on my next cleaing I would get that, he shrugged his shoulders and said ""It's your carpet."" in quite a condescending manner. Then they got started cleaning, and I had asked them to please just move one recliner chair and one coffee table. I had moved EVERYTHING else out of the area already for them. When they were finished, they got me to sign the invoice and said they were done and started out the door. They didn't ask if it looked ok to me or anything, I looked into the livingroom and noticed that the coffee table and recliner were both sitting directly on the carpet. No blocks or plastic squares under the legs to protect them. I asked if they had cleaned under them. He said ""Oh yeah, we did."" I asked about the absence of foam blocks or something under the legs to protect the furniture, and also to aid in the drying time, especially under the recliner. He had the nerve to lift my recliner up from the rear, lean it forward, and say ""you don't need any protection - the finish is already worn off the legs, see?"" I could not believe it. What kind of company is that? Not one that I intend to use again. He then left and never offered to go ahead and put down blocks or anything for me. One additional thing that bothered me was that when he needed some paper towels to clean up the water on the floor in the hall, he came right into my kitchen and helped himself to the paper towels. Like it was his house. He should have asked if I had any paper towels he could use to clean up the water, or better yet, come prepared with a rag to clean up any water mess they made. I have a nice home and nice furniture, and even if I did not, customer service should be consistently good in any circumstance. Ocean Air is lacking in this area - I hope they can improve.
