I hired this joke of a contractor named Scott two weeks ago to clean and repair a pool on a house i just bought. The agreement was that I would pay half up front and half when the pool was clean, and that he would clean it once a week for a month. I also hired him to replace the pump. While a third party associate wasn't even half way done scrubbing the pool, Scott proceeded to argue with me for the other half (so that he could pay the third party guy). Arguing with me was unprofessional enough, but not being able to pay your third party guy and expecting me to pay early is definitely not how a business of any kind should be run. After Scott installed the pump, my pool looses water in copious amounts. He told me that he was coming that Monday to clean my pool and he didn?t show until that Friday, he had his wife call me (I suspect out of cowardice due to lack of punctuality and professionalism). Then he stopped showing up completely. When I called to ask him when he would do what I paid $450 for he proceeded to call me a dumb@ss and jack@ss. When I told him that I would be posting this review, he threatened to sue me. Considering that he can?t afford to pay someone to use a scrub brush, I?m not particularly scared. His argument to pay him early is based on the premise that he has raving reviews online. Based upon my personal experience, I believe that his positive reviews are truncated. HEED MY WARNING, DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN!!! HE WILL ONLY SCAM YOU LIKE HE SCAMMED ME!!!!
