Can you rate less than a star?
Do NOT rent from Aardvark Cabin Rentals! My husband and I made the mistake of renting from them and were treated very poorly. We rented the Seclusion cabin which was supposed to have two workin hot tubs and jacuzzis. The issue is that neither of the hot tubs worked, and we were told that they would be fixed the first night we were there. The manager Scott even went into detail explaining what the repair man who was coming looked like. Then the repairman never showed and the company never called to tell us he wasn't coming. We attempted to contact the manager to let him know about the situation, but his guard dog Jeannie (who is the rudest person I have ever had the displeasure of speaking with!) was not only rude but was disrespectful to both myself and my husband. When we started looking around we found a book where people record their experiences, and found that the hot tubs had been broken since March of the previous year. But wait - there's more! The cabin was filthy and of course in the book we could see that someone had literally checked out the previous day. There were dirty dishes in the cabinets, dead ladybugs EVERYWHERE, cracks in the walls, and rats or some other critters in the wall. Yes you read that correctly, I said IN THE WALL! Oh, and when you turned on the downstairs jacuzzi (that gets only lukewarm water) hair comes out of the jets and slime comes out of the shower! Gross...so incredibly gross. And don?t get me started about the nasty water. We stayed only the one night. We literally couldn't take anymore. Just steer clear of Aardvark Cabin Rentals.
