Review content:
Recently I had a few friends over and we craved burgers and decided to go to the nearest place, which was Red Robin. Once we arrived it took a good 35 minutes before they were able to seat us.
The waitress got our drink orders and didn?t return for about 15 minutes. She told us that she had forgotten what we wanted to drink, because she was busy. However, I noticed the place was almost empty. By the time she returned with our drinks, we were ready to order. Once she returned with our food, I noticed that she felt bad about forgetting our orders, because our food was brought out 10 minutes later.
I ordered the Monster Burger which costs a whopping 10 dollars. The burger tasted alright, had the perfect amount of ketchup, mustard, and mayo. The patties were perfect and filled my mouth with steam and warmth. However, the pickle relish taste was overwhelming. After eating a good half of the burger, I began to get tired of the so called monster burger that tasted solely of two buns a few jars of relish slammed together and asked for the waitress to take it away.
The fries were excessively soggy, and extremely unsatisfying. However, they were free refills, so how can you complain with free. But each refill that came seemed to be less then what I had received before with my burger.
The waitress tried to make things sincere by adding in a story when she dropped of her food, of what happened to her a week before. The story consisted of her going out with a group of Vegas for the weekend. She stated that while she stayed in a hotel there she noticed a cult that had daily meeting in her lobby. She continued for a few minutes, but I became annoyed and ignored her until she left.
I became a little frustrated with the place and I wanted to get out. As we were about to leave the waitress asked if we would like to have a complimentary dessert, because she forgot our orders. I contemplated just leaving, because what if she forgot about us again?
I ended ordering the Hot Fudge Sundae. This sundae was probably the best piece of the meal. The sundae had just enough chocolate for it to cover the ice cream. So when I took a bite it had a warm chocolate taste, which quickly changed to cool vanilla ice cream.
When the check came I decided to take pity on the poor waitress and left her a nice tip after her hopes making our visit as great as she could after she forgot our orders.
Pros: Dessert
Cons: Service, and relish
