Last Friday night my family ventured out to the Highlands from Marietta. We usually don't visit the area since most of the restaurants are loud and crowded and my husband is very uncomfortable (tall--over 6'8""). My daughter was home for spring break and we decided to try something different. I had taken a Cooks Warehouse cooking class from the chef Ron and he spiked my interest in trying the restaurant. We saw my sister-in-law on Friday and invited her and her boyfriend to join us. She called by brother-in-law and he wanted to join as well. I made reservations for 6 of us. When I showed up, my brother-in-law brought his girlfriend and her son. Now we had 8. All the tables were reserved and there was no way we could squeeze 2 more places in. The host came over and opened the doors to a private room. It was fantastic!!! The concerns of loud and crowded were alleviated. We had a great meal. In addition to the wonderful atmosphere, the food was excellent. We have picky eaters in the family and all 3 of them ordered the fried chicken and enjoyed it. We will definitely be back.
