This was such an excellent find! It's in Deep Ellum and was easy to get a table on a Saturday night. If this place was in uptown it'd be packed with a line out the door. Think Cafe Izmir without the cramped quarters, long waits and ridiculous prices. The hummus is fantastic and we got the mixed grill so we got to try a lot of different things. More than enough for two people and everything was well seasoned and well cooked. They have a good wine list with some very affordable choices if you are looking for that. The staff were all very friendly and it didn't feel like a corporate-owned restaurant that you typically find in uptown. It's the type of place that is good for a leisurely meal. Get dessert and try the Turkish coffee. We'll definitely be back.
