Review content:
This restaurant reminds of a typical little European Bistro. Cosy atmosphere, good service, good wine list and very good pricing. I have compared with a lot of local competition, and every time they outshine all the other similar restaurants (Italian) in downtown. The only reason I went to the opposition in past, was because I was either invited or outvoted by the rest of the party. But, by now I have taken all my friends there, and everyone agrees that Primi can't be beaten. Try their Recco pasta. They serve it plain, or with chicken or shrimp. I preferred shrimp, although chicken good too. Both the chicken marsala and fish marsala excellently prepared. The food is very consistent, always cooked to perfection. The owners are South African, hence the SA wines, all good wines.(They have Italian and USA wines too.) I've had some SA dishes there, Bobotie and malva pudding were delicious! They never disappoint! Oh, and they have this one large table which seats about 8 (probably 10 even) people..... just love that table!
Pros: Even when very busy/full, I've never waited more than 10 minutes
Cons: None!
