Review content:
I have lived in the New Orleans area for 44 years and have attended many different churches in search of one that lives and preaches what the Gospel tells us. Although I have been part of many that are OK, St. John Evangelical Church was home the first time I stepped foot in the door. We were greeted with open arms. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. This was 2 years before Katrina. The campus was devistated from the hurricane, but through the dedication of the members, enormous support in terms of volunteer labor and donations, and perseverance of the Principal and Pastor, this congregation and campus are thriving. There are many activities happening in the Mid City area. They reach out to help those in need. They truly care about one another and do their best to live the Word.
Pros: Access in Mid-City by streetcar or vehicle, beautiful sanctuary, wonderful members, excellent Pastor
