ON 1/1/11 6 OF US WENT TO IHOP ON WISCONSIN AVE BY 41.... OUR SERVER HAD TO CORRECT THE 2 DRINKS SHE MESSED UP ON, I ALSO NOTICED SHE DIDN'T GIVE US STRAWS. WE WERE SEATED RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE ENTRANCE TO THE KITCHEN, SO I TURNED AROUND AND NOTICED 4 GIRLS STANDINGTHERE. I CAUGHT ONES ATTENTION & ASKED HER IF WE COULD GET SOME STRAWS? SHE LOOKED THO THE LEFT, THEN THE RIGHT, I SAID 2 MYSELF "" WATCH SHE LOOKING FOR MY SERVER""? BY THEN THE OTHER 3 GIRLS WERE LOOKING AT ME SO I SAID CAN ANYBODY GET US SOME STRAWS? ABOUT A MIN. LATER A GIRL CAME FROM BEHIND ME ON THE RIGHT, STOOD THERE AND THREW THE STRAWS OVER MY SHOULDER. I ASKED HER IF SHE NEEDED TO DO THAT? SHE SAID ""WHAT"" I SAID THROW THE STRAWS? SHE SAID I ALWAYS DO THAT.. I SAID I HIGHLY DOUBT THAT YOU ALWAYS THROW STRAWS AROUND& NOBODY COMPLAINS.? BY THIS TIME I HADN'T ASKED FOR THE MANAGER YET, BUT A FEW MIN. LATER THE SO-CALLED-MANAGER CAME OVER BY ME AND SAID ""IS THERE SOMETHING WRONG"" ? I SAID YES THERE IS SINCE YOU ARE ASKING. I PROCEEDED TO TELL HIM ABOUT THE CRAPPY SERVICE ME, MY FRIENDS & KIDS HAD RECEIVED ABOUT SOME STUPID STRAWS. HE TOLD ME THAT HE HAS KNOWN AMANDA"" FOR SOME YEARS, I TOLD HIM I DIDN'T CARE HOW LONG HE HAS KNOWN HER, THATS NOT GOOD SERVICE, THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. HE SAID TO ME THAT I WAS NOT RIGHT?. I TOLD HIM THAT HE OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T TAKE A ""MANAGEMENT/HOSPITALITY"" COURSE TO GET THIS JOB. HE TOLD ME THAT HE WILL HAVE THE COOKS STOP OUR FOOD, I SAID THAT'S FINE WERE LEAVING!! WE GOT UP N LEFT.
