Review content:
I have been a patient at Foundry for several years. I have seen 3 doctors and one PA there multiple times. As I have had many many surgeries and seen about 10 different doctors throughout New England, I feel qualified to post my opinions. In any orthopedic office with quality doctors, there can be a wait. It's part of the industry that is not very pretty. But, as with anything, sometimes you have to take the good with the bad. Over the years, I have noticed an improvement with the front staff. Several years ago, I often felt intimidated and ""herded"". Now, however, there seems to be a noticeable improvement. Once behind the door, there are only one or two staff members who seem to have a difficult time with personal interaction. I've had multiple MRIs done there, and was always made to feel comfortable and relaxed while the scan was being done. Staff was knowledgeable in what they were doing, and the end result has always been excellent quality images. The up to date use of technology in the exam rooms is also a plus. The doctor can immediately access images and explain the findings. Often the doctor has invited me off of the exam table to get a closer look at the images, and making me feel comfortable asking questions. Although I have had multiple surgeries, I have never been a patient of the Foundry PT group. I have always opted for PT elsewhere. And it's never been a problem. Even though it could have been, my choices were honored, and my PT has always had wonderful communication back and forth with the attending doctor/PA. There are a lot of surgeons out there. I even attempted to contact one for my most recent injury, thinking maybe it's time to find someone closer to home. That office never even bothered to call me back. So I made an appointment at Foundry, was taken in within a reasonable wait time, saw the doctor, had surgery recommended and scheduled, CT scheduled, MRI scheduled all very efficiently and professionally. In the end, I didn't need the surgery after all...but it was nice to know it could be done quickly and easily with the staff at Foundry.
