Review content:
*Best cheese on pizza... cooked good and light brown.
*Best crust on pizza... nobody has been able to produce a consistent thin cracker crisp crunch all the way thru like this place. We always get the traditional sausage pizza... I wonder if it would stay crunchy like this if multiple items were ordered.
*Best sauce... just the right amount of sauce. Not dry and not overly saturated.
*Better than the great original Vito and Nick's on Pulaski (featured on the Food Network's ""Diners, Drive-Ins, & Dives"")
Oh... and the toasted ravioli with the meat sauce is the best, too.
Service is classic friendly Southside style.
Not a fancy restaurant... a booths and tables/chairs-type a place (probably seating for about 50). Pricing is very fair. Can get half-pitchers of beer or pop!
My background... West Side (city and burbs my whole life) and I am NEVER out this way, so I am not being biased, like I was from this area.
Pros: Best tasting pizza (see Details)
Cons: I can always find fault but there is none with this pie
